The servo-driven Star Auger automatic filling machine offers precision, speed and versatility when handling powders and granules. Engineered to accurately dispense and fill a wide range of products, our automatic auger dispensing machine features stainless steel construction and easy-to-remove tooling and hopper to allow for sanitation and maintenance.

Auger filling technology is most commonly used in applications requiring portioning and dispensing of powders, spices, coffee grinds, chemicals, flour, sugar, salt, baking mixes and other products with similar characteristics. Our powder packaging machines use a custom-designed screw to accurately dispense product and determine how many revolutions are required to volumetrically achieve the desired weight.

All models include a programmable logic controller, color touch screen, stainless steel construction, servo-driven motor for repeatable long-term performance, an easy-to-access product hopper and available feedback controls that allow for fill volume adjustment.

The Star Auger can be integrated with our auxiliary packaging machines including vertical form fill and seal baggers, premade pouch fillers and container indexing conveyors.
